CHURCHES IN THE AREA

Though HUFA is an organization that connects you with other Christian students on campus, we do not conduct Sunday services nor do we believe that we can be a sufficient substitute for a church.  Listed below are just a few of the many great churches you can check out in the Greater Boston Area. We encourage you to explore and find a community in which you can develop your faith and to which you can contribute.

Aletheia Church

Hope Fellowship Church

We exist to glorify God by inviting people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and into a community of people who passionately love God, actively love people and who are being equipped to become multiplying disciples to reach the nations. 

Hope Fellowship Church is a local, evangelical expression of the Body of Christ. We are Baptist in theological heritage, congregational in church governance, and elder-led in pastoral oversight. Our members are committed to seeing the good news of Jesus proclaimed through their lives of worship, relationships and outreach to our city and world.

Park Street Church

"'We hereby covenant and engage ... to give up ourselves unto the Lord ... to unite together into one body for the public worship of God, and the mutual edification one of another in the fellowship of the Lord Jesus: exhorting, reproving, comforting and watching over each other, for mutual edification; looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of ... our Savior Jesus ...' (from the Articles of Faith and Government, adopted on Feb. 23, 1809)"

St. Paul Parish

"Welcome to historic St. Paul Catholic Church in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Our parish family extends past Harvard Square and the city of Boston to the suburbs and beyond! Music has always been integral to worship at St. Paul’s, and the Saint Paul’s Choir School, the only Catholic boys’ choir school in America, provides for the church’s Choir of boys and men. This rare traditional Choir sings great Catholic music in service to the liturgy at the 11:00 a.m. Mass each Sunday of the school term, while one of the boys’ Choirs sings at the 12:10 p.m. Mass Tuesday through Friday, the Saturday 5:00 p.m. Vigil Mass, and Vespers at 5:15 p.m. each Wednesday. The third component of St. Paul Parish is the Harvard Catholic Center, an active chaplaincy to undergraduates and graduate and professional students at Harvard University and other academic institutions in the area. A special Mass for students is held Sunday evenings at 5 p.m., and other liturgies are celebrated at the various Harvard graduate schools. Antioch Baptist Church

Citylife Presbyterian Church

"Citylife Church seeks to expand God’s Kingdom in the city of Boston and beyond. We hope to bring renewal in every sphere of life by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to foster a community of love that reaches out with the historic Christian truths of the Gospel. We welcome skeptics, seekers, and those who share the church’s vision to be a Gospel-oriented, outwardly-faced community of God’s grace." 

King’s Hill Church

JESUS OVER EVERYTHING: Jesus is our only hope for a reconciled relationship with God, and he rules over us not only for his praise for also for our good.

COMMUNITY OVER CLIQUES: We believe Jesus not only breaks down walls that divide us but also creates healthy, invested, loving relationships.

CALLING OVER COMFORT: We believe the goal for every Christian is growing to look more like Jesus which means overcoming our bent towards safety and ease and towards greater trust in him.

Pentecostal Tabernacle

"We are Pentecostal Tabernacle, a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, bible-believing church that exists to restore lives broken by the consequences of sin, and bring them to the place where these very same lives bring glory to God. It is our objective that these lives be developed to glorify our God through S.P.I.C.E.: Spiritually, Physically, Intellectually, Characteristically, and Economically."
